Rollover Crash in Fatality in NW Portland - Person Identified - 7th fatal crash (Photo)

This is the 7th fatal crash in Portland in 2021. An earlier release listed an incorrect total.

The person killed in this single vehicle roll over crash has been identified as 40-year-old Douglas Mark Rosling II, of Portland.

A rollover crash has resulted in the death of a driver in industrial northwest Portland.

On Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 7:07a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to a crash in the 2700 block of Northwest Yeon Avenue. When they arrived they located an SUV on its side resting against a warehouse building. The male driver was deceased. Preliminary information is that it was a single vehicle crash.

The Portland Police Major Crash Team is enroute to investigate. Northwest Yeon Avenue is closed between Northwest Nicolai Street and Northwest 26th Drive.

The PIO is not responding to the scene. More information will be released when appropriate.

This is the 3rd fatal crash in the last 31 hours in the city of Portland. It's the 8th fatality of the year and the 12th Major Crash Team callout.
