https://www.mcda.us/index.php/news/christopher-lovrien-charged-with-two-homicides-other-murder-victims-suspected/ Portland Police arrested 53-year-old Christopher Lovrien May 4, 2020, on an indictment connected to the homicide of Mark Dribin, who had been reported missing in 1999. Detectives executed multiple search warrants at Lovrien's property in southeast Portland in May 2020, and found the remains of Kenneth Griffin there. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office determined Griffin's death was a homicide. Lovrien was later indicted in Griffin's homicide.
Because of evidentiary items located on the premises during the May 6, 2020 search, the Detective Division is seeking help from the public regarding Lovrien and the possibility of additional victims of homicide.
Portland Police Bureau's Homicide and Cold Case Units recognize that the resolution of every murder case is important for the family and community. With the assistance of our partners at the Oregon State Police Forensic Laboratory, Bode Technology and the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, we will continue to seek justice for those victims that have no voice.
