UPDATE: Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested (Photo)

Acting on a tip from a community member, Portland Police Detectives arrested Noah C. Smith this afternoon. He was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Robbery in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

The Portland Police Bureau appreciates the public's help looking for Smith.

Portland Police Bureau detectives are seeking help in locating 34 year-old Noah Charles Smith. Smith has active warrants for his arrest and is a person of interest in a shooting that occurred on March 7th, 2021 at SW Barbur Blvd and SW Capital Hwy and needs to be interviewed.

Smith is known to frequent homeless camps.

Detectives believe Smith is armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
