Missing Person Found Safe (Photo)

On Friday, June 4, 2021, the Missing Persons Unit was notified that Andy Akina is safe. He is no longer considered missing. The Portland Police Bureau is grateful to the community for keeping a look out for him.

A man has been missing for almost a month and the Portland Police Missing Persons Unit is requesting the public's assistance.

Andrew "Andy" Akina, 57, (photo) was reported missing on May 25, 2021, but officers learned he has not been seen for about 30 days. He was last known to be living in a camp near Northeast 82nd Avenue and Northeast Halsey Street.

Akina is 5'7", 185 lbs. It's unknown what clothing he was wearing.
