Reckless Driving Leads to Arrest and Seizure of Guns and Drugs (Photo)

A suspect is facing firearm and drug related charges after a reckless driving traffic stop.

On September 29, 2021 at 12:05a.m., a North Precinct Officer spotted a vehicle driving recklessly, including sliding, inside Rose City Cemetery.

The officer stopped the vehicle nearby and arrested the driver. Inside the car the officer found two guns, including an AR-15 pistol with a 60 round magazine and vertical laser grip. The officer also found cocaine and methamphetamine (photo).

Everado Llanes-Perez, 24, of Portland booked into Multnomah County Detention Center for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2 counts), Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place (city code), Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
