UPDATE: Victim in North Tabor Homicide Identified (Photo)

The victim in the Wednesday homicide in the North Tabor Neighborhood is Craig Wisdom, 40, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death and provided the attached photo for public release.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner's office performed an autopsy and determined cause and manner of death to be homicide by gunshot.

The investigation into this homicide is continuing.

A man is deceased after a shooting in the North Tabor Neighborhood.

On Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 9:37p.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting near Northeast 60th Avenue and Northeast Everett Street. When officers arrived they located an adult male deceased.

The other person believed to be involved remained at the scene. PPB is not currently seeking any suspects.

During the investigation, Northeast 60th Avenue is closed between East Burnside Street and Northeast Glisan Street. The PIO is not responding to the scene. More information will be released when appropriate.
