UPDATE: Missing Persons Detectives Seek Medically Endangered Portland Man and His Dog

Eric Gigliotti was safely located today and is no longer considered missing. He was spotted by a community member near Lloyd Center, who provided detailed information to lead North Precinct officers to his location.
Gigliotti's welfare was checked, and he accepted a ride home from officers. Both Gigliotti and the puppy are safe, and no longer considered missing.
The Portland Police Bureau would like to thank the alert community member for calling the police.

The Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in locating 34-year-old Eric Gigliotti ("Gig-lee-ottee"), who suffers from a number of medical and mental health issues, which could seriously endanger his welfare, if left untreated.
Gigliotti went missing from his residence in the 17700 block of Southeast Division Street, during the morning hours on Saturday, December 29, 2012. It is believed he left voluntarily, but his medical condition causes him to be considered a vulnerable adult.
No foul play is suspected.
Gigliotti is described as a white male, 34 years old, 5'8", 150 pounds, with wavy, receding, dark-colored hair to his collar, and brown eyes. He was last seen with a dark, full beard and mustache, and was last known to be wearing a 3/4-length, navy wool jacket, a grey "Bigfoot Restaurant" hoodie, jeans and black hi-top tennis shoes.
He may be carrying a large, black backpack, and had a small white/tan puppy with him.
Anyone who knows of Gigliotti's whereabouts is asked not to approach him, but to immediately call 9-1-1.
