HOMICIDE ARREST: Man Suspected in Lloyd District Homicide Arrested (Photo)

The man suspected of shooting Jacob Dreyer in this Lloyd District homicide has been arrested.

Portland Police Homicide Detectives requested the aid of US Marshalls, who worked in partnership with the Vancouver Police Department and Southwest Regional SWAT to take 28-year-old Lona-Akoni Hudson into custody. The custody occurred in the Portland.

Hudson was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on the following charges:

Murder in the Second Degree
Unlawful Use of a Weapon

The victim from Saturday night's homicide at has been identified as Jacob T. Dreyer, 38, of Vancouver. His family has been notified and provided this photo for public release.

A male is deceased after a shooting in the Lloyd District Neighborhood.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 7:12p.m., North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in a parking garage in the 1000 block of Northeast 2nd Avenue. When officers arrived they found a male victim deceased.

No suspect information is being released and no arrests have been made.

Portland Police Bureau Homicide Unit Detectives responded to investigate. During the investigation, Northeast 2nd Avenue is closed between Northeast Multnomah Street and Northeast Holladay Street.
