Suspect Facing Attempted Murder Charge After Shooting in Goose Hollow Neighborhood (Photo)

A suspect is facing an attempted murder charge after shooting and injuring a victim in the Goose Hollow Neighborhood.

On Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:02a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1400 block of Southwest Jefferson Street. When they arrived, they found a victim seriously injured with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The first arriving officers performed trauma first aid until paramedics arrived to perform advanced care and transport the victim to the hospital. The victim, an adult male, is expected to survive.

The suspect remained on scene and cooperated with police. A 10mm semiautomatic handgun was seized as evidence (photo). The Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) responded to investigate. Detectives booked Gabriel H. Harrison, 29, into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Menacing.
