PPB in negotiations with armed, barricaded subject

NE Emerson St has been reopened to through traffic and officers have cleared the scene. The subject of this call was not located by police.

On 7/3/22 at approximately 9:18 p.m. officers from the North Precinct responded to the 6600 block of NE Emerson Street on a report of a possible domestic disturbance with a shotgun. The subject in this incident has barricaded themselves and streets in the area have been closed off. Officers are holding a perimeter and SERT/CNT have been activated.

The staging location for media is at NE 72nd Ave and NE Killingsworth St. The PIO is responding to the scene.

This is an ongoing incident and an update will be provided.
