PPB Responds To Fatal Crash On Marine Drive

On July 18, 2022, at 5:26 a.m., officers from the North Precinct were dispatched to a crash on Northeast Marine Drive near Northeast 112 Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that rolled down the embankment after hitting an unoccupied, parked vehicle. The driver, who was the sole occupant of his vehicle, died at the scene.

Portland’s Major Crash Team (MCT) is responding and will take over the investigation. While the MCT conducts this investigation, Northeast Marine Drive will be closed from Northeast 33rd Avenue to Northeast 122nd Avenue.
