Portsmouth Neighborhood Homicide Victim Identified

The victim is identified as 26-year-old Adrian Perdomo. The Medical Examiner determined his manner and cause of death to be homicide by gunshot wound. Perdomo's family has been notified of his death and is requesting privacy at this time.

On Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 10:03 p.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to a shooting call in the 6000 block of North Fessenden Street, Northgate Park. Officers arrived to find an adult male who was deceased.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit has responded to investigate. During the investigation, North Geneva Avenue is closed from North Fessenden Street to North Newark Street. The identity of the victim will be released after they are positively identified, the Medical Examiner has confirmed cause of death, and after family members have been notified.

The PIO is not responding to the scene. More information will be released when appropriate.
