Motorcyclist Dies in Lents Neighborhood Crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in the Lents Neighborhood.

On Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 5:47p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a report of a crash on Southeast 92nd Avenue at Southeast Duke Street. When they arrived they located a crash involving a motorcyclist and a driver of a vehicle. The motorcycle rider suffered severe injuries. Paramedics arrived and attempted lifesaving measures, but the motorcyclist died at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team responded to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Southeast 92nd Avenue is closed between Southeast Duke Street and Southeast Henry Street.
