The pedestrian who died as a result of this crash is identified as 46-year-old Jason Todd Clark. Clark's family has been notified of his death.

On 3/4/23 at approximately 6:29 p.m. officers from the North Precinct responded to the intersection of Northeast Sandy Boulevard and Northeast 162nd Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian died at the scene and the involved driver remained at the location.

The Major Crash Team is responding to begin their investigation. Northeast Sandy Boulevard will be closed for several hours between Northeast 160th Avenue and Northeast 162nd Avenue as investigators process the scene and collect evidence.

Anyone with information on this crash who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact the Traffic Investigations Unit at crimetips@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number 23-57794.
