The name of first individual arrested in this incident is Mark I. Keith, not Mark T. Keith as originally reported.

Yesterday, December 30th, 2013, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to a residential burglary in the area S.E. 116th Avenue and S.E. Lincoln Street. The burglary had been interrupted when the homeowner returned home and tried to block the suspects in his driveway. The suspects fled in a vehicle and the homeowner pursued them. The suspect vehicle crashed in the area of S.E. 120th Avenue and S.E. Lincoln Street and the suspects fled on foot.

Officers responded to the area and were able to identify a residence associated with the vehicle. Inside the residence, officers identified Mark T. Keith, a 30-year-old male and Benjamin T. Hicks, a 33-year-old male as suspects in the crime. Both individuals were taken into custody and lodged at the Multnomah County Jail on Burglary I charges.
