Victims Identified in Multnomah Neighborhood Homicide (Photo)

The victims who died in the Multnomah Neighborhood shooting on May 3, 2023, are identified as Dilrajpal Singh, 33 and Guriqbal Singh, 27. The victims were brothers and their family has been notified of their deaths. The medical examiner determined that they died of homicide by gunshot.

The brothers are not related to the suspect.

The person detained at the scene, Jobanpreet Singh, 21, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on two counts of Murder in the First Degree.

Two men are deceased after a shooting in the Multnomah Neighborhood.

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2:45p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 9100 block of Southeast Barbur Boulevard. When they arrived they found two men deceased in a parking lot.

One person has been detained for the investigation. No one is currently being sought by police.

The Portland Police Bureau Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is investigating. During the investigation, Southwest Barbur Boulevard is closed between Southwest 30th Avenue and Southwest Alice Street.
