An 11-year-old boy is missing and the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) is seeking help from the public looking for him.
Jonathan Blacker ran away from his home in the 8100 block of Southeast 52nd Avenue this morning. His family has been looking for him most of the day and reported him missing. He was last seen about 11:30a.m. at the Milwaukie Bay Park, located at 11211 Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard.
Jonathan is a Caucasian male, 11-years-old, 4 feet-6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with short brown hair. His clothing is unknown, but he is likely wearing a black and orange bike helmet, riding a silver Huffy mountain bike and carrying a tan messenger bag.
Jonathan likely traveled along the Springwater Trail to the Willamette River, which he has not done by himself before.
The Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons Unit responded to assist East Precinct with the search. Law Enforcement partner agencies in the area have been alerted.
If anyone sees Jonathan, please call 911. If anyone has information about this case, please e-mail missing@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number 23-196044.
