Several Arrested for Organized Trespassing and Property Destruction

Seven people are facing charges after 2 organized trespassing and property destruction incidents.

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 1:34p.m., Central Precinct Officers responded to a corporate office in the 500 block of Northeast 20th Avenue on a report of a group of several dozen people trespassing and causing a disturbance, including using sound amplification devices and noisemakers. Some employees retreated to an office and a number of the participants began beating and kicking the doors trying to get to the employees. A door was damaged and property was thrown on the floor. The group left before police arrived and no immediate arrests were made (case number is 23-207881).

At 4:58p.m., Central Precinct Officers were dispatched to a shopping mall in the 300 block of Southwest Morrison Street on a report of a group causing a disturbance outside of a clothing store. Officers learned that members of the group had trespassed and broken a door. Arriving officers arrested 4 suspects who were trying to leave the scene and booked them into the Multnomah County Detention Center (case number 23-207955). They were:

Joseph B. Buddenberg, 39, of Oakland California, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the First Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Harassment.

Niki Nemkov, 34, unknown residence, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Harassment.

Kristy M. Colon, 33, of Parker, Colorado, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Harassment.

Payton McKnight, 23, unknown residence, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Harassment.

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 1:29p.m., at Southwest 5th Avenue and Southwest Yamhill Street, officers located and arrested three suspects from the Tuesday incident at 500 block of Northeast 20th Avenue. They were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center:

Royce A. Ashcroft, 30, Las Vegas, Nevada, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.

Jerry W. Vlasak, 65, of Los Angeles, California, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree

Trey T. Morrow, 33, Spartanburg, South Carolina, Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree
