The location of this incident should have read the 2900 block of S.E. 121st Avenue. We apologize for the mistake.

Early this morning, August 10, 2014, at about 2:55 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 2900 Block of SE 122ND Avenue on a report of a stabbing. Officers arrived and found the victim, a 32-year-old male, had suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the assault. The suspect, described as a short black male, approximately 30-years of age, wearing a red shirt and black shorts, had fled the area.

Based on the initial investigation it appears the assault allegedly occurred as the result of an argument between the victim, a resident of the location, and the suspect. The two appeared to be acquaintances.

Officers used K-9 cars and attempted to contain the area but the suspect was not captured. Officers are still investigating this assault.
