The Portland Police Bureau’s Missing Persons Unit is looking for a missing endangered woman and anyone who sees her is asked to contact PPB.
Frances Maynard, 80, was last seen on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., driving away from an auto body shop in the 1300 block of Southwest Troy Street. Maynard was supposed to follow her husband home, but she turned a different direction. Despite a possible sighting in the Wilsonville area, Maynard's whereabouts are unknown. Maynard’s cell phone is off and she suffers from Alzheimer’s. Both family and detectives are worried about her well-being.
Maynard is described as a Caucasian female, 5’4”, 145 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white jacket and driving a 1993 white Volvo station wagon (not actual vehicle in attached photo), Oregon license plate SL77840.
PPB is asking anyone who sees Maynard to call 911. Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact detectives at missing@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number 24-86021.
