Major Crash Team Responding To Crash Involving Pedestrian

On Monday, April 8, 2024, at 10:45 p.m., an officer from the East Precinct was patrolling the area of Southeast 157th Avenue and Southeast Division Street when they came across a crash that had recently occurred near the intersection of Southeast 158th Avenue and Southeast Division Street. Officers arrived to find a crash between a pedestrian and pickup truck. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene.

The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Southeast Division Street will be closed in both directions between Southeast 157th Avenue and Southeast 160th Avenue.
