The pedestrian killed in a crash in the Overlook Neighborhood on November 1, 2024, has been identified as Dustin E. Pfenning, 45, of Beaverton.

One pedestrian is deceased following a crash in the Overlook Neighborhood.

On Friday, November 1, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 5500 block of North Interstate Avenue on reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a MAX Yellow Line train. When they arrived, officers located one adult male pedestrian deceased.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate.
