On Monday April 27, 2015, at 5:29 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to a residence in the area of Northeast Cully Boulevard and Killingsworth Street after the report that an unknown person broke into a child's bedroom and climbed into bed with the child.

Several officers responded to the area and contacted the child's family who told police that the suspect broke into the residence through a window and climbed into bed with an 11-year-old girl.*-..

On April 21, 2015, 52-year-old Monty Gene Vermillion was arrested by North Precinct officers after he was identified by police as the suspect in this bank robbery.

Vermillion was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a Federal Hold for Bank Robbery.



On Monday April 20, 2015, at 11:19 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank branch, located at 12240 North Jantzen Drive.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted employees who told police that the suspect implied that he had a gun as he demanded money.*-..

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who assaulted a 66-year-old man in Southwest Portland.

On February 5, 2015, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of an assault in the parking lot of the Capitol Highway Deli Foodmart, located at 11102 Southwest Capitol Highway.

Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who told police that the suspect attacked the victim without provocation then fled the area in a white Toyota Prius.*-..

Shu Ying Xie has been safely located and is no longer missing.



The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to find 61-year-old Shu Ying Xie.

Xie was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the Super King Buffet, located at 5015 Southeast 82nd Avenue.

Xie suffers from severe dementia, does not speak English, and generally does not know her name or where she is going.*-..
