On Thursday May 21, 2015, the North Precinct Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) and Street Crimes Unit (SCU) served a search warrant at 8602 North Endicott Avenue after receiving neighborhood complaints about drug activity at the home.

05/24/2015 Officers Seize Handgun from Suicidal Man in Concordia Neighborhood - Man Taken to Hospital for Treatment

On Sunday May 24, 2015, at 5:22 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 6400 block of Northeast 38th Avenue on the report of a 26-year-old man armed with a gun threatening to shoot himself and the police.

Officers arrived in the area and worked to contain the area visually before making a phone call into the house to talk to the man.

05/24/2015 Robbery Detectives Investigating Two Overnight Armed Robberies in Southeast Portland - No Injuries

On Sunday May 24, 2015, at 3:30 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Kilt Irish Pub, located at 4336 Southeast Woodstock Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the bartender who told police that he was in the process of closing for the night when two suspects broke through the glass door and robbed him at gunpoint.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, both suspect left the bar and were last seen running southbound on Southeast 44th Avenue.

The suspects were described as two white males, one wearing a red hoodie and the other a black hoodie.

While officers were still investigating the robbery at Kilt, an area resident called to report that he had been robbed at gunpoint while walking to his car from his residence in the 4900 block of Southeast 71st Avenue.*-..

05/25/2015 Shooting Investigation Underway on 122nd Avenue Near East Burnside - No Known Victims

On Monday May 25, 2015, at 3:15 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a drive-by shooting near 122nd Avenue and East Burnside Street.

Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire and a house on the corner of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Ankeny Street that was struck by gunfire.

No gunshot victims were located at the scene and witnesses indicated to police that a group of young African American males were walking on 122nd Avenue when a car drove by and fired several rounds at them, causing the group to scatter.

The vehicle was described as silver, occupied by three African American males.*-..
