Nora Yotsov holds a BA in Anthropology and an MS in Crisis and Emergency Management. Early in her career, Nora worked as an Archaeologist and Researcher for Desert Research Institute at Joshua Tree National Park and the Nevada Test Site. This experience helped her develop solid research techniques, grant management and intergovernmental cooperation skills. Nora also spent 8 years as an International Ground Operations Manager for a major airline. Nora was tasked with responding to security issues, emergencies and a variety of operational issues to ensure continuity, on time performance and customer satisfaction. As a private sector employee, Nora collaborated well among stakeholders including various governmental agencies, special districts, unions and vendors.
Nora has ten years of experience in Emergency Management, with expertise in grant management, finance, technology, planning and EOC operations. Nora is currently serving as an Exercise and Training Coordinator at Clackamas County Disaster Management.
In addition to serving as the RDPO’s 2017 Program Committee Chair, Nora chairs the Regional EOC Training Sub-Committee of REMTEC.
