Multnomah County, 501 Building

logoThe Multnomah Building is the seat of Multnomah County Government, home to the offices of the County Chair and Board of County Commissioners, and destination for many County residents doing business with the County, including marriage licenses, assessment and taxation, and County archives research. Multnomah County has a mission to protect the most vulnerable in our community. This mission shapes the way they approach sustainability, an approach based on achieving social, economic, and environmental justice.

The Multnomah Building strives not only to be a sustainable place to work and do business, but also to make it easy for employees to choose sustainable options for themselves. From energy efficiency, to storm water diversion, to composting and recycling, the Multnomah Building is designed and managed with sustainability in mind.
