Convergence Architecture is a full service architecture firm located in the North Portland neighborhood of St. Johns. The firm's work includes public, neighborhood commercial, non-profit, and residential projects. Their Architects hold licenses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Wisconsin, and Indiana, but like to work locally and have done four projects within four blocks of their office.
- The majority of Convergence Architecture's staff live within walking distance of the office, which greatly reduces energy consumption and pollution from daily commutes.
- In addition to curbside recycling, Convergence Architecture composts food scraps and recycles rigid and film plastics, electronics and Styrofoam. The company and employees are so committed to waste reduction that there are only two trash cans in the entire office.
- Convergence Architecture leases desks to other small firms, sharing the common areas and equipment. This allows them to maximize usage of space and equipment, as well as being a fun and easy way to collaborate outside the company.
