Portland is committed to ending traffic violence in our communities. Through the Vision Zero program, the City of Portland and our partners are working to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on our streets by 2025.
Portland City Council passed a resolution adopting Vision Zero in June 2015. This set in motion a planning effort that created the Vision Zero Action Plan that City Council approved in December 2016.
The next Vision Zero Task Force meeting is Tuesday, June 5, 2018, 9:30 a.m. to noon, Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Avenue. All meetings are open to the public.
