From time to time, PBOT will clarify, update, or develop new Administrative Rules. The process will include levels of community outreach, with technical adjustments being the lowest level of outreach and new City Council adopted rules being the highest level of outreach depending on the community impacts by these rules.
Beginning in Spring 2019, PBOT began a process to refine its public outreach process for developing or updating Administrative Rules. We expect to have a new and improved process in the coming months. This updated procedure will allow for better engagement and input from the constituents and community stakeholders. We will be seeking community feedback as soon as the process has been defined.
