  • Bike Safety Education = Fun! Students celebrate their final day of Bike Safety Class with a community ride through the neighborhood.

  • Pedestrian Safety Education Second grade classrooms learn the basics of pedestrian safety and rules of the road.

With the help of our partners at The Street Trust, Safe Routes to School provides pedestrian and bicycle safety instruction at schools throughout the Portland area. Every year we hear from parents and teachers that their students' time spent with their safety educators made an incredible difference in their confidence and knowledge when out on the streets with other road users.
