Pedestrian Safety Education

SRTS Pedestrian Safety EducationIn partnership with The Street Trust (formerly known as the BTA), Safe Routes to School offers Pedestrian Safety Education to Portland schools.

Pedestrian Safety Education (PSE) is generally taught to 2nd grade students during the school day. The curriculum includes 1.5 hours of in-class and outdoor instruction. The class ends with a group walk through the neighborhood.
