Types of Permits

Temporary Parking, Sidewalk, Street Use Permits

PBOT issues temporary permits to reserve the right of way, including parking spaces, sidewalks, streets and lanes.

Simple Street Use Permit (Parking Only)

Reserve on street parking to facilitate residential or commercial moves, loading/unloading for events, short term construction/utility work, tree trimming, etc.

Delivery Parking Permit

Delivery permits allow vehicles to park at metered parking for specific amounts of time.

Commercial Parking Permit

Commercial vehicles can park at metered parking and truck zones for specific amounts of time with this parking permit.

Disabled Parking Permits

Disabled Parking Permits are issued by the Oregon Driver and Motor Vehicle Services (DMV).

Non-Profit Parking Permit

This permit allows non-profit organizations to park vehicles at metered parking.

Maintenance Parking Permit

The Maintenance Parking Permit is for maintenance, service or repair work on existing buildings.

Angle Loading Parking Permit

Because of building designs and increasing size of delivery vehicles, special angle loading parking permits are necessary to maintain worker and road user safety.
