Area Parking Permit Program (APPP)

The Area Parking Permit Program is designed to help people who live or work in non-metered areas by controlling commuter parking in their neighborhood.  Visitors to the neighborhood may park for a limited time, residents and businesses may purchase permits that allow them to exceed visitor parking time limits. Read more about the history and details of the program here.

To purchase permits:

  1. You must live or work in a designated zone. Check the map to determine which zone you are in.

  2. Fill out the corresponding application for residents or businesses.

  3. Attach supporting documents.

  4. Mail completed application packet and payment to: PBOT Parking Permits, 1134 SW 5th Avenue, Portland, OR, 97204

  5. The walk-in address has changed to 111 SW Columbia St., Suite 660.
