PBOT’s Portland in the Streets team has temporarily paused our Street Prototyping program in response to our current Covid-19 public health crisis. We remain committed to all the ways we use our public space for community building and connection, even if we can’t do what we normally do.

Program Description:

Street Prototyping projects are short- or long-term temporary projects that test a new street or intersection design concept.Information and results obtained from such projects inform future design decisions.

These projects turn gravel, dirt, and undeveloped low volume streets or alleyways into places where people want to gather and install amenities desirable to the public.
