TriMet just announced that they will install 250 new bicycle parking spaces at the Sunset and Beaverton Transit Centers.  But these are no regular old bike racks you see on the sidewalk.  They'll be building a covered, secured, garage - for bikes only (see photo, right).  Park and ride in style!

Here at SmartTrips Downtown we've been excited about this prospect for some time.  We love biking to our local MAX station, leaving the bike in a locker, and zipping off to downtown.  But this is a whole new level of service for bike park and riders.
