The sunny Wednesday and Thursday have us here at SmartTrips Downtown craving summer with Waterfront Park and bike lanes bursting with cyclists.
Back to reality, yes it's still winter and we know that spring in the northwest means rain, rain and a bit of sun. We have our rain paints, jackets, gloves and booties to repel the elements.
But what if you had a bike to protect you from the elements? TreeHugger recently did a story profiling some outlandish bikes.
Canadian artist Dean Baldwin took an old American car like my dad used to drive, yanked out the engine and other superfulous elements, added some bicycle components, and voila, you have the Flinstonemobile.
Now what if you want to go four-wheelin but would rather not spew a bunch of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere?
