While at Mom's this weekend I came upon a thing of transit beauty: a bright bus with lovely large windows. TriMet TV provided further illumination on this grand vehicle: TriMet has purchased 40 new buses that will replace some of the buses in their fleet that are up to 20 years old.

The new buses are brighter inside (they've lost the tinted glass) and more spacious. The TriMet crew even took an innovation from Nascar to increase fuel efficiency by four percent.
