I am really hoping for some snow with all this cold so the local media can provide us 24-hour coverage of precipitation. And of course, there is always the requisite videos of cars sliding on steep hills. 

Luckily, we have TriMet to keep us moving during the snow.  Even during last year's week long blizzard I rarely came in to work late.  Granted, I couldn't just call 238-RIDE and find out when my bus was coming, but a 15-minute wait wasn't bad compared to the alternative - biking or driving downtown in the snow.
