Transportation Safety Summit followup

This past Tuesday evening, the Safe Routes to School team was out in force at Mayor Adam's 2010 Transportation Safety Summit.
Over 200 people from all over the city converged at the White Stag building to discuss and debate transportation safety challenges and opportunities. Mayor Adams and other dignitaries gave opening remarks, which was followed by breakout sessions organized by neighborhood coalition. Safe Routes was one of 4 focus areas for each of the breakouts.
We received a lot of feedback and many suggestions at the Safety Summit. We're still compiling all the comments, and we will post the major themes here. In the meantime for those who weren't able to make the event, we've posted all our posters from the summit online. Check out the PDF file below to see a visual overview of the services we provide (divided by neighborhood coalition) and email us any feedback you have.
Bikeportland.org also has a nice overview of the event here.
