The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is in the process of creating low stress streets suitable for families to use for biking and walking.  While improving our neighborhoods, bike boulevards also create safe, pleasant opportunities for students to walk, bike or otherwise roll to school.  

PBOT just completed the first round of outreach for the next generation of bicycle boulevards to hear feedback and get input from the community on crossing treatments and other improvements to maintain the residential character of these routes. The second round of open houses begins next week.  Come make your voice heard and shape the active transportation routes in Portland.  Attend any of the following open houses to share your ideas and verbalize your support.
