Sunday Parkways is the City of Portland's signature summer event, where we close miles of streets in a neighborhood one Sunday each month and open them for people to walk, bike, play, and connect with their neighbors.  On the fourth Sunday of every summer month (May to September, we think optimistically here :) your day is set - free fun in the streets and parks of Portland.

In order to continue the events' huge success and to expand the hours, miles, and participants we're looking for the community's financial support.  It doesn't take much though.  Chipping in as little as $15 will help us get to our community goal of $5,000.

Here's the kicker though (or Kickstarter, to be exact): In order to secure the money we're raising we need to reach our goal.  If we don't hit $5,000 by 5/24, we forfeit any amount we've raising ($1,800 so far!).
