This morning, the City of Portland's Transportation Options division (of which I am a part) hosted its 19th annual Bike to Work breakfast. We had our usual lot of die-hard commuters, first-time cyclists, curious downtowners, and hungry people! There's still a lot happening for the bike-curious crowd this month.
You didn't forget about our first Sunday Parkways of the year this weekend, did you? The weather forecast calls for uncertainty, but it's certainly going to be a great day (plus not even Mother Nature knows what type of Portland weather we will have in five days this far in advance).
The Bike Brown Bag this month will whet your appetite for Sunday by spinning true tales of the original Sunday Parkways, Ciclovias!
Bikes Mean Business at Big Pink on Friday with the BTA on Friday.
Bikes also mean free pastries or coffee over at any of the six Grand Central Bakeries on Friday.
And so much more! Check out the Shift calendar for a listing of hundreds of bikey events!
