The April 7 Safe Routes to School Spring Kick-Off was AMAZING!

- Helmet Egg Drop teaches kids why it's important to protect your noggin!

- Helmet fitting and $5 helmet sales help families be able to protect their noggins!

- Sign decorating reinforces for kids why walking to school is cool, fun and a healthy choice!

- Signs and smiles accompany families as we simulate a "Walking School Bus" to lunch.

- The Kick-Off Passport encourages students to visit all 7 stations and is also the raffle ticket.

- Bike decorating helps prepare bikes for the celebratory community bike ride!

- The celebration is punctuated with a Community Bike Ride!

Axel wins the grand prize for the raffle, a NEW BIKE!  He and his family pick out his bike at their local bike shop, The Outer Rim.

- Free bikes and helmets to borrow for the day's activities
