Make sure you stop by the New Columbia Activity Area located along N Dwight and Trenton.  The NW Trail Alliance will have their bike skills track set up for you and the little ones to practice your bike handling skills.  Also, Community Cycling Center and We All Can Ride will be promoting the future New Columbia kids' off road bike area.  Come on by and get more details!

Village Market, Portland’s only nonprofit grocery store, is celebrating their one year anniversary of successfully serving residents of the New Columbia neighborhood and surrounding North Portland communities.  Village Market is a community-based project, part of the larger Village Gardens Community Food Initiative, providing healthy food options that are affordable and convenient.  

The Sunday Parkways route goes right by the market, a perfect opportunity to load up with some treats for a park picnic.
