Construction Detours Planned for N. Denver Avenue

Beginning Monday, October 8, one block of downtown Kenton will be closed to through traffic. The closure is expected to continue through the first week of November. Signed detours will reroute traffic to parallel side streets. Some on-street parking along the detour will be removed temporarily to accommodate turns and two lanes of traffic in each direction.

Northbound Detour:

Traffic will be detoured from N. Denver to east on N. Watts, north on N. Fenwick, and west on N. Schofield.

Southbound Detour:

Traffic will be detoured from N. Denver to west on N. Schofield, south on N. Brandon, and east on N. Watts.

N. Denver Freight Access

Denver will be closed to freight trucks over 50 feet during the detour. Signs on N. Lombard and N. Interstate will advise truck drivers of the closure.

TriMet Detours

TriMet #4 Division/Fessenden will detour via N. Watts, N. Fenwick and N. Kilpatrick.

Temporary stops will serve Kenton at N. Denver south of N. Watts (to St. Johns) and at N. Watts east of N. Denver (to Portland City Center)  For more information, visit www.trimet.org or call 503-238-RIDE (TTY 503-238-5811).
