Update for October 8, 2012

N. Denver Ave Roadway Repairs Update

Work starts this Monday, October 8th

Beginning this Monday, October 8th, one block of N. Denver Avenue between N. Watts and N. Schofield will be closed to traffic for pavement repairs. During the road closure, signed detours will reroute traffic to Fenwick and Brandon via Watts and Schofield. The closure is expected to last through the first week of November.

Some on-street parking along the detour will be removed temporarily to accommodate turns, TriMet buses, and two lanes of traffic in each direction. For more information about the detour route and parking removals, click here: http://www.portlandoregon.gov/transportation/article/412959

‘No Parking’ barricades in place on Friday, October 5th

On Friday, October 5th, ‘No Parking’ barricades will be set up on N. Denver Ave between N. Watts and N. Schofield and along the detour route. The barricades need to be installed prior to the start of the road closure and detours so they are effective on the morning of Monday, October 8th. Parking will be allowed through this weekend. Vehicles left in the No Parking zones on Monday morning will be towed. Please be sure to move your vehicles in time.
