“Passing the hard hat from Hales to Novick”
PORTLAND, Ore. – Mayor Charlie Hales and newly appointed Transportation Commissioner Steve Novick on Thursday morning will announce 100 miles of street maintenance projects planned across the city. The Back to Basics maps of 2013-14 street maintenance will be available to the public on the Transportation Bureau’s web site.
The event is Commissioner Novick’s first public event since he was appointed on Monday to lead the Transportation Bureau.
