(PORTLAND, Ore.) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures on SW Broadway between I-405 and SW 5^th Ave. on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The lane closures are necessary to grind down the existing pavement and repave .75 lane miles of the street.

Two traffic lanes will remain open at all times.  Travelers exiting I-405 at SW Broadway may experience short delays.  The public is advised to travel cautiously, observe all directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.

Local access to residences and businesses will be provided.
