5:10 p.m. Sept. 20, 2013 - CANCELLATION: This project is being postponed until further notice. Cornell Road will be open as usual

(September 20, 2013) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that Cornell Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. September 20 to allow for crews to clean the two tunnels on the road.

The closure extends from NW Westover Street to NW Skyline Boulevard and applies to all travelers, including bicyclists and pedestrians. Local access will be provided and flaggers will be present to reroute traffic. The alternate route is NW Burnside Street.

We ask the public to travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible. This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.
