(November 22, 2013) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that sewer work for a private construction project will require limiting SE Cesar E Chavez Boulevard to two lanes at the intersection with SE Alder Street on Monday Nov. 25 and Tuesday Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At all times, sidewalks will be open to provide pedestrian access and two travel lanes for vehicles will be open – one lane in each direction. The work will take place on the northbound travel lanes.

This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.

The public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously and observe all work zone signage.
